The Duke of Sussex showed off his impressive voice as he sang a line from the Sound of Music song So Long, Farewell. Harry was saying goodbye to youngsters who lined the stairs at Canada House. The moment mirrored a scene from the famous film when the Von Trapp family performed the song from a staircase.
Harry’s sing-song prompted a smile from pregnant Meghan, who has now started her maternity leave.
On Monday, the couple met young Canadians in London who are in the fields of fashion, tech entrepreneurship, business and the arts.
The couple later joined a number of other royals including the Queen, Prince William and Kate to attend a Commonweath Day service at Westminster Abbey.
Meghan, who is about eight months pregnant, previously revealed Harry’s love of singing.
Last August, Harry briefly burst into song at a charity performance of musical Hamilton.
He started to sing a line from You’ll Be Back, which is sung in the play by his sixth great-grandfather King George III.
Meghan joked afterwards that Harry “can’t stop singing the songs”.
Monday’s engagements were the Duchess’s last public appearances before her royal tot arrives.
But she is continuing work behind the scenes, including a secret meeting at Kensington Palace on Tuesday.
And Meghan had another previously unannounced appointment at the palace yesterday with the Royal National Theatre’s artistic director Rufus Norris and executive director Lisa Burger.
The 37-year-old is due to give birth in April or early May, but the exact date has been kept a closely-guarded secret.
The royal couple are moving to their new home in Windsor ahead of the birth.
Frogmore Cottage has been undergoing multi-million pound renovations, which reportedly include a gender neutral nursery.
