Manchester United take on the Parisian club in what should promise to be a great game of football at Old Trafford.
When the draw was announced, United were regarded as huge underdogs, but they’ve seen a turnaround in fortunes over the last few weeks.
The Red Devils are now being given a fair shot at winning the tie, while PSG will be without star players Neymar and Edinson Cavani through injury.
The likes of Paul Pogba, Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford have seen their form change for the positive during Solskjaer’s reign.
Pogba has scored eight league goals since Mourinho lost his job, and has largely looked like the player people saw at the World Cup last year.
And Draxler, who plays in midfield for PSG, has had his say on the Frenchman ahead of their big game.
“I’ve known Paul for a long time,” he said.
“I’ve played against him when we played Germany vs France. Sometimes we managed to stop him, we have managed to stop him on a few occasions.
“He’s a great player, a top player with lots of qualities and the kind of player who excels in a top game in the Champions League.
“But we’ve got some good players, who I think will be capable of stopping him.”
The German also spoke about what impact former United star Angel Di Maria might have on the game when the two sides meet.
Di Maria endured a torrid time in Manchester, only showing glimpses of class throughout his tenure there.
“I was asking him [Di Maria] some questions about Manchester United,” Draxler added.
“I won’t tell you what he said but he will be ready for tomorrow.
“He’s a big player. He has a lot of respect for the club [United], there’s nothing terrible in what he said but it was between me and him, so I won’t tell you right now.
“He’s in good form, we’ll need him tomorrow, especially without Cavani and Neymar, hopefully he’ll have a great performance tomorrow.”
